Course Description
By administering immediate care during an emergency you can help an ill or injured person before EMS (Emergency Medical Services) arrive. This course will teach you what to do when faced with an emergency and provide you with simple-to-follow steps designed to help you deliver care in different scenarios. Save lives by learning the appropriate care to provide first aid, breathing, cardiac emergencies, and gunshot wounds.
Students who take/complete this course:
- Earn a quarter credit in Science or Health
- Receive a First Aid and CPR Student Training Kit
- Earn an American Red Cross First Aid Certification
- Earn an American Red Cross CPR Certification
- Earn an American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification
- Receive a YCCS Certificate of Completion
