My name is Phillip “Malingo” Peterson aka DJ Phresh, I have worked in the Special Events industry for over a decade performing for crowds numbering in the thousands. During my time at Youth Connection Leadership Academy, I facilitated a “Learning Studio” teaching DJing. Today, one of my students (Janae Kirkman) who participated in the course is now an active DJ entertainer securing gigs and performing at her school’s (McKinley Lakeside Academy) events.
