Mr. David E. Ashkenaz, a Science Teacher at YCCS – Innovations, is a veteran teacher in science on the high school and college level. He has done research in biochemistry and nanotechnology as part of the National Science Foundation and sponsored research at Northwestern University, the University of Illinois Bioengineering Department and Argonne National Laboratories. He is committed to helping his students understand difficult scientific concepts. He enjoys music of all genres and playing the guitar.
