Ms. Benerata Lamaj has been an educator for over for 16 years as a Professor of Math at National Lewis University and Harold Washington College and a Math Teacher at YCCS-Innovations. She has taught the whole spectrum of Math Courses from Pre-Algebra, Integrated Math, Algebra, Geometry, Geometric Drawing and Pre-Calculus. Serving as a numeracy coach, she analyzes student learning data and employs competency-based education giving students the time, choice and voice to demonstrate mastery.
