West Town Academy (W.T.A) offers a high school program which includes a full-time high school curriculum, college and career counseling and community oriented extracurricular activities.
West Town Academy is part of the 26-year history of the Greater West Town Community Development Project (G.W.T.C.D.P). W.T.A has provided free educational and vocational programs to anyone needing help getting ahead in life. The curriculum content includes English Language Arts, Foreign Language, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Health, Physical Education, Fine Arts and Computer Literacy.
Our students get involved into the community and learn about vocations that are community resources and are important to the providing career options for our students. We take pride in being a key resource for employment assistance, job readiness training and livable wage job opportunities.
