Course Description

In this course, students will learn the basis of genetics, cell theory, chromosomal theory, DNA structure, synthesis, and transmittance, mutations (structural and biochemical), genetic analysis tools such as pedigree analysis, determination of allele dominance, heterozygosity, homozygosity, common disease traits and evolutionary genetics.
